Privacy Policy

Broz (“Broz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) owns and operates the website located at https://brozknows.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Site.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

a) Information You Provide Directly When you fill out a contact form, inquiry form, or similar form on the Site, we may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, company or organization, and any message or project details you choose to share.

b) Information Collected Automatically When you visit the Site, certain information may be collected automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device type, referring/exit pages, and general usage data (such as pages viewed and time spent on the Site).

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information) through the Site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We collect and use personal data solely for informational and business-operations purposes, including to:

  • Respond to inquiries submitted through our contact or project forms;
  • Understand how visitors use and navigate the Site so we can maintain and improve it;
  • Communicate with you about a project, inquiry, or request you have made;
  • Maintain the security, functionality, and performance of the Site;
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use personal data collected through this Site for advertising, marketing campaigns, email marketing lists, or promotional communications, and we do not sell or rent personal information to third parties. Any information you submit is used only to respond to you and to operate and improve our services.

3. Third-Party Tools and Services

We use certain third-party services to operate the Site. These providers may process limited data on our behalf, as described below.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”), to help us understand how visitors interact with the Site (e.g., pages visited, time on page, general geographic region, and referral source). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyze this information in aggregate and pseudonymous form. This data is used strictly for informational purposes — to help us understand Site performance and usage trends — and is not used for advertising or marketing purposes by Broz.

Google may use the data collected through Google Analytics in accordance with its own privacy policy. You can learn more about how Google collects and processes data at https://policies.google.com/privacy, and you may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Gravity Forms

Our Site uses Gravity Forms, a third-party form-building plugin, to collect information submitted through our contact and inquiry forms. When you submit a form on the Site, the information you enter (such as your name, email, phone number, and message) is transmitted through Gravity Forms and stored on our website’s hosting environment so that we can review and respond to your submission. Gravity Forms itself does not use your submitted information for its own marketing purposes; it functions solely as the technical mechanism that delivers your form submission to us. We use the information collected through these forms only to respond to your inquiry and for related internal, informational record-keeping — never for marketing purposes.

We may also use standard hosting, security, or website-maintenance service providers necessary to keep the Site operational. These providers only process data as needed to provide their services to us and are not authorized to use it for their own marketing purposes.

4. Payment Processing (Stripe)

If you make a payment to Broz through the Site — for example, by paying an invoice — that payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”), a third-party payment processor. When you submit payment information, it is entered directly into Stripe’s secure payment interface and is processed in accordance with Stripe’s own privacy policy and security standards. Broz does not directly collect, view, or store your full credit card number, card verification code, or other full payment card details on our own servers.

We may receive limited transaction-related information from Stripe, such as confirmation that a payment was made, the amount paid, the associated invoice or order, and billing name/email, so that we can apply your payment, maintain accurate business records, and respond to any billing questions. This information is used strictly for informational and business-operations purposes — such as invoicing, bookkeeping, and payment confirmation — and is never used for marketing purposes.

Stripe may process payment data in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at https://stripe.com/privacy. Stripe is a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor responsible for securely handling the payment card data you provide to it.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as those used by Google Analytics, described above) to support Site functionality and analytics. Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies. Please note that disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Site.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With service providers (such as Google Analytics, Gravity Forms, and Stripe, described above) who help us operate the Site and process payments, strictly for the purposes described in this Policy;
  • If required to do so by law, subpoena, or other legal process;
  • To protect the rights, property, or safety of Broz, our clients, or others;
  • In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information collected through the Site only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — such as responding to your inquiry — or as required by law.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices

You may choose not to provide certain information; however, this may limit your ability to use certain features of the Site, such as submitting a contact form. You may also disable cookies through your browser settings and opt out of Google Analytics tracking as described in Section 3.

10. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), provides you with certain rights regarding your personal information. These rights include:

  • Right to Know — You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources of that information, the purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties (if any) with whom it has been shared.
  • Right to Delete — You may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Right to Correct — You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing — Broz does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so no opt-out is necessary. We do not use the personal information collected through this Site for marketing purposes.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination — You will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the Site; to the extent any is provided voluntarily, we do not use it beyond what is necessary to respond to you.

Categories of Personal Information Collected: Identifiers (such as name, email address, and phone number) and internet or other electronic network activity information (such as browsing behavior collected via Google Analytics), as described in Section 1.

Purpose of Collection: Solely to respond to inquiries, operate and improve the Site, and for other informational business purposes described in Section 2 — not for marketing.

To Exercise Your Rights: California residents may submit a request using the contact information in Section 14. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

11. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and equivalent UK data protection law may apply to our processing of your personal information. In that case, the following applies:

  • Legal Basis for Processing — We process personal information you submit through the Site (such as through a contact or inquiry form) based on our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry and operating our business, and, where applicable, based on your consent (such as consent to the use of analytics cookies). We process usage data collected via Google Analytics based on consent or our legitimate interest in understanding and improving Site performance, depending on your jurisdiction’s requirements.
  • Data Controller — Broz is the data controller for personal information collected through the Site.
  • International Transfers — Because our service providers, including Google Analytics, may process data outside the EEA, UK, or Switzerland (including in the United States), such transfers are made using appropriate safeguards as required under applicable data protection law, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Data Retention — We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, as outlined in Section 7.
  • Your Rights — Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction or deletion of your personal information; object to or restrict our processing of your personal information; request a copy of your personal information in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
  • No Marketing Use — As stated throughout this Policy, we do not use personal information collected through the Site for marketing or advertising purposes.
  • Right to Lodge a Complaint — You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe our processing of your personal information does not comply with applicable law.

To Exercise Your GDPR Rights: Please contact us using the information in Section 14. We may ask you to verify your identity before responding to your request.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. The updated version will be indicated by a revised “Effective Date” at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
